SRULI RECHT

One of my favorite designer, also artist. His design is very avant-garde style and contemporary wearable. Most of his clothing are my favorite and makes you really wanna get it. The pricing is definitely not cheap, cutting of the clothing is very edgy and sleek, sharp yet stylish. Some of the photos that makes me wanna take them home for a collection.

Yes he does accessories, and you should check his work and it's not the usual kind of ring you see out there.

My favorite piece of jacket

Love this above jacket. (Please give me one!)

Most of his clothing are sold out and it's hard to find one here, which sucks.
ANYWAY, won't be able to afford one for now. So move on...

Sruli Recht is based in Reykjavik, the largest city and the capital of iceland. His studio began to rose notoriously in 2008 for making "non-product" design every month, which I am gonna post up some interesting pics below, He made umbrella to bullet proof scarf to hi-CAL marble gun and so on...
Mixture of concrete, diamond, wood, skin and wool.

YES! this ring is made of his own belly skin which kinda gross when I watch the video
one and only, the forget me knot ring is worth 350,000 euro which is insane! I guess some fanatic will buy this ring soon

Where X Marks
Wooden Slat Bag
Hand-made wooden bag, securing a canvas inner. A block of Poplar is cut into 17 slats before the edges are hand-softened with 5 custom-made sanding jigs and left to be sun- bleached. The hand-cut knobs on the water-bent Ash handle unscrew at one end to slide through the bars on a bike saddle.
This uneven basket weave is 100% cotton and is produced in an Italian knitting mill, and stained with black Indian tea. The poplar timber is Canadian and the hessian twine, origins unknown, is dyed white.

Sharkskin Glove - Thorns In
Fitted and unlined glove from basking shark skin, with the mic-rose thorns inside. Should you put your hand in, you will discover that the thorns, all directed to slant inward, will lock your hand in place in the manner of, ten thousand fishhooks. Should you attempt to remove it, the thousands of thorns will bite into the skin. You can put the gloves on, but to remove them would mean to cut them off. Gloves for life, or for one wear - the ultimate and final commitment.
Lethal lethal, my right fist and its sequels

Isn't that insane or what? The glove that you wear will always be with you. I love how intriguing his work can be and makes it a masterpiece which really worth collecting. Well, it is an artwork. A design you can never get your mind off.

Not advertising his brand or anything. I just really love it!

Final one to share.

This top!

Two single skeins of spider silk gently knotted into a knitted undergarment -
to protect the hearts of an empire.
wait.
I wait.
my prey
and the bait.
~

We held down a spider, strapped its legs to a board, and reeled out its silk, for our silk spun hoard.
Our knit originates from the silk gland of a spider, carefully placed in the milk duct of a goat.  The single filament is reeled out of the goat millimetres at a time to produce the most difficult to obtain fibre in the world. Having secured 2 skeins of the silk, each many thousands of metres long, we spent 4 days unraveling it to prepare for knitting.  A further week was spent gently coaxing two filaments into the knotted web of these garments...  And then another week convincing it to become the emperor's new clothing.
Weight for weight, silk is stronger than steel and tougher than Kevlar.

Woooooo~ I really admired his creativity for fashion and design. So go find out more on his work!

CHAOS!
